Quintessential Pennsylvania

COKEBURG - A former company town of the James W. Ellsworth Coal Company.  It was first called Shaft Four, and then Cokeburg after the nearby coke ovens.  Cokeburg became an incorporated borough in 1946. How To Get There:

  SCENERY HILL - Historic village along US 40 in Washington County.  The community was originally known as Hillsborough until 1867.  Hillsborough was named after Robert Hill.  His family ran Hill's Tavern, which later became the Century Inn. How To Get There:

BEALLSVILLE - Washington County town located on US 40.  The community was named after Zephaniah Beall in 1819. How To Get There:
